I didn’t do much today but I did mess around with that tiller a bit, and found out that when I pour some gas down into the carb, it will fire, so it technically runs but it isn’t getting fuel. So on Saturday, I will pick up a carb kit and start working on rebuilding it.

I also mowed my own lawn today as well. I am not sure what will happen over the weekend, with the possible snow, and the cold air, but I am keeping my chin up and hoping that I will start doing more lawns soon! Screw the snow and cold, it is APRIL tomorrow!

I did some work today which was great. I mowed 2 lawns, and dethatched 2 more. I am pretty tired and sore today since I am not quite used to this yet, but it will start getting easier as the season goes on. I am not sure when I will be mowing again with the way this weather is though.

It is supposed to be rather cold this weekend, and it may even snow, but at this point I am not quite sure I believe anything about that yet. We shall see what happens of course, and I am hoping it stays warm, but this looks to be a crazy up and down kind of year I guess.

Today was a rather windy day, and that made it chilly. It will be nicer tomorrow which is great because I have a few jobs tomorrow! I have 2 mowing jobs, and 2 dethatching jobs, plus whatever else may come up, as I will ask a few people in the area.

I am glad to finally have some work as I am getting rather sick of sitting around doing nothing. I also picked up another tiller today. It is a 1992 Troy Bilt Tuffy rear tine with a 3HP Tecumseh engine. It needs some carb work as it doesn’t run at the moment though.

It was a windy day today, and it rained in the morning so I didn’t get anything done. I am planning to see if I can get anything done tomorrow, but I am not sure as it will be windy as well. I think that I can probably mow a few yards soon as well, but it all depends really.

It may get cold again next week, but who really knows what will happen until it gets here. I don’t believe models at all as they have been showing stuff like this all winter and it never happened. I am just hoping that it isn’t a very hot summer, and we have a good bit of rain.

I fixed the recoil on the Snapper today, so once I get the screws needed to hold the blower cover on the engine, it is good to go. Yards are getting greener, and will likely need to be cut soon, so I think that I will actually be cutting by April 1 now. It all depends on the weather though.

I am still doubting the modeled cold front that is coming as forecasts are never right that far out as far as I am concerned. One day I should make a chart of what they say it will be 10 days out, and what it actually gets to, and update it daily. Would be interesting to see just how wrong they are.

Today was a good day. I thought it was going to be chillier and rain but the sun was out a good bit and it hit 64. It was windy, so it wasn’t a great day but I did mess around with the Snapper a bit. The pull start is sticking, and won’t retract so I need to figure out why.

I think it may need a new pull start but I really don’t want to spend more money on it. I can get a spring alone for 7 bucks but that is a lot of work to get it in just right. The whole starter, which looks different in pictures online, is 55 dollars though, so I need to see if I can fix this one.

Well today was a longer day than I thought it was going to be. While waiting for Sears to bring the refrigerator, I decided to start cleaning up my yard a bit. I have a cleanup job tomorrow to do as well, so who knows how tomorrow is going to go right now.

I am going to see if I can pick up any extra jobs while I am in the area though, or even in a different area just to get some extra work to make my day more worthwhile. I am sure it will be a long day as I need to get leaves up from beds and the yard, trim some stuff, and a few other things, but I am really happy to have some work!

Today, while the temperature was higher, didn’t feel any warmer than yesterday! I did go get my haircut though at least. I have some work coming up on Thursday and maybe some more on Saturday as well if it is dry enough to do any dethatching work at least.

It is supposed to rain Thursday night into Friday, but who knows if it actually will or not until it comes. They are also saying the first half of April will be cold and below average temperature, but I am not sure how much I really believe that right now.

I got that wagon together today and I am very happy to report that it does exactly what I had wanted it to do! I can fit a mower, in this case, I tried the MTD push mower, trimmer split in half, and a small backpack blower, plus 2 gas cans! I need to see about the Honda next.

I am planning to see if the garden is dry enough to give a good tilling tomorrow, so I can mix in some lime. I should see what the soil PH actually is one of these days as well. I will start mixing grass clippings in soon as well, since I will mow the lawn for 2 months or so before plants go in.

Ah, what a nice relaxing day! The refrigerator decided to fail, so it was out shopping for a new one! I was planning on getting that wagon together today but didn’t have time time so I am thinking I may be able to do it tomorrow, since I don’t have anything else planned.

I also plan on working on the tiller carb soon again as well as possibly getting that snow blower carb cleaned and rebuilt as I never got around to doing that either. I have at least one cleanup this week on Thursday, as long as the weather is good and stays dry.
