Another day of no rest for me! I did a yard today that took all day and I have 3 or maybe 4 tomorrow and another one on Friday. I just never stop working! What makes it fun is that my feet are killing me right now from all the walking I did this week.

Supper today was a very good steak and potatoes down on the grill with rosemary, olive oil, onion, and garlic. They came out very good too. Weather was nice and tomorrow should be nice as well but they are saying there is another hurricane that will be near Cuba in 5 days.

Well today is a short day since I am tired. I did 2 yards today and I have more to do tomorrow. I will have at least one big job, but I can have 2 or even 3 jobs if I have the time to do them. Weather was nice and tomorrow will be nice too. Supper today was chicken nuggets, peas done in soy sauce, and mashed potatoes.

Well today is a special day for me, and a late blog entry for you. I am on my way once again to the NY State Fair, which I go to every year. I have some fun toys along with me for the ride, and one of the ones I brought is getting not only its first blog post write up, but it’s first car trip. This is the Sigmarion III. I also have the Zaurus in my bag which is getting its first car trip as well.

I also have the Eee PC 1005PE in my bag as well. I also have the Treo 650 and Nintendo DSi but the only thing I plan on taking into the far with me is the Treo 650 and my camera, and of course my phone, which comes with me everywhere.

I brought the iPod and Sony headphones for music but not really using them that much. I also brought the Visor Pro so I can keep reading Stephen King on the way home. The problem is that I always fall asleep on the way home so who knows if I can stay up.

I am planning to eat a lot which will be fun. Last year I ended up getting chicken fingers because I didn’t bring much money but today I am bringing 20 dollars for food with me so I plan on eating some different stuff. The one year I tried alligator which wasn’t bad. I was going to try shark last year but didn’t want to spend that much money on it.

This was a shorter entry then I had planned since I had decided to keep working on the Sigmarion review instead. Supper was chicken fingers as it has been the past few years. As I had expected I didn’t play with the Treo at all. Documents to Go is messed up again so it was no use to me.

Well today was a very wet day here but thankfully we didn’t get as much rain as they claimed we were going to get. We only got about 2 inches which was still a lot bit not as bad as the 5.5 I heard at first. We didn’t even lose power today which was a good thing.

I finished up another recipe book and moved onto another one. I will have this one done soon too as well since it is a smaller one. Supper today was very good homemade pizza with homemade pizza sauce. It will be nice tomorrow at 76 and sunny.

I took the Zaurus with me again as I have been since it fits in my pocket. I would love to take the Sig3 with me but that is not exactly pocket sized, but it will fit in my pocket though. I had to reflash the C700 as it was crashing a lot and running slow, so now I will have to wait and see if it decides to give me more problems as time goes on I guess. I have to say though, when it works I do like the Zaurus a lot, since the hardware is really nice even though it is pretty old.

I have to say though that one of the annoying things about doing these reviews is that I have to do the two of them, so I am trying to do them at the same time which is a little hard to juggle. I am doing them in two parts but the first part is the actual review and the second part will be an update in a a few weeks or so about what I have been using for them and how well it works out for me.

Well Irene is on her way up and by this time tomorrow it should be gone. We are getting some minor rain as this is posted, but the heavy stuff is coming up slowly. The eye is over Norfolk right now as of 7:30PM EST. Supper today was very good chicken wings.

Well, today was another busy day for me. I did three yards today and made some good money. I will have some more work to do later on as well. I can’t do anything on Sunday since we are getting the rain from Irene. They are calling for 5.5 inches of rain as well which will make cutting the grass rather hard to do. I will have to see when I can get a free day to do some work.

I have been using the Zaurus more to do these blog entries as well. I have been getting used to the keyboard more and more as well. The problem for me is the shift key isn’t a sticky key like on the Clie or Treo. That means that when I need to use the shift key, I need to hold it down. This is one of the little things that I will need to get used too really. Another problem is the tab key is right where I expect the A key to be.

I also hit p instead of the backspace key. The keyboard layout is the Japanese layout so for keys like ( and ) are 8 and 9 instead of 9 and 0. The comma key is also on a shift key because the key for the comma is the forward slash key. The backslash key is on the f key as an FN combo. This means that the question mark key is on the period key as a shift combo. To make things weirder yet, the dash is on a key next to the spacebar. There are also some keys that don’t do anything for me since they are for the Japanese language.

Supper today was left over pasta. Weather was warm but nice. I have to keep typing up more recipes as well, since I am almost done with one section of them. I have a lot more to go but I want to get these done quickly at the least.

Well short entry today as I have been working on typing up more recipes as well as getting the WiFi card to work on the Sig3 or Zaurus with still no luck. I had to fix my iTunes library again because the album rating crap screwed everything up on me.

Supper today was a grilled cheese and pasta salad. Weather was nice and we got some rain so I didn’t have any work to do today. The weather for tomorrow will be nice at least so if I do have work to do it won’t be too bad out.

Well, I finally got pictures of the new PDAs up on Picasa, but since I am typing this up with the Zaurus so I will have to add the link in later. That is one of the bad things about not having working WiFi yet. I have been trying to get it to work but I don’t know when or even if I can get that Clie WiFi card to work.

That is one of those things that I should have expected really since it is a Sony branded card after all. That is one of the bad things about not having a PCMCIA slot on the Sig3 since I have a Buffalo card that I used to use in my NEC MobilePro 780 before. Speaking of the NEC, the browser on that thing was a joke by today’s standards. It didn’t even do CSS! I have to say though, that NEC is very old, and since it was made all the way back in 1999, it is a shock that WiFi even works on it to me really.

There is one good thing that happened today though. I have started on the reviews of the Zaurus and the Sig3 for Classical Computing. The plan is to do the reviews on the devices themselves. This means that the review for the Zaurus will be written using the thumboard like I have done for this blog entry. In my opinion, the best way to get to know a new device is to try and use it for all that you can.

Supper today was that Velveeta chicken and broccoli meal that is very good. I had Chinese food for lunch which was very good. I got chicken lo mein and pork fried rice combo meal. Weather was nice today and we may get hit by the hurricane this weekend perhaps.

Well today was not just a good day weather wise, but I also got some fun new toys to play with. In fact, I am using one of them to type this up right now. I know that I had already said what these two new toys are but I think that it would be best to say again just so that everyone remembers.

The first of the new toys is one of the PDAs that has been on my want list for quite a while now and today is the day that I finally got my Sharp Zaurus!!! The one that I got is the SL-C700 model which is the first of the VGA clamshell models. That is what was actually on my list instead of a specific model. If I wanted to, I could have bought the newest model but that was too expensive for me. Tsubasa was nice enough to send me this and for that I am very thankful.

The other PDA is the SIgmarion III. This one runs Windows CE. I will post more about them tomorrow as I am still trying to get stuff working right now. This has a 5″ 800×480 screen and everything is small, even the keyboard is pretty small too.

Supper today was pasta that came out very good. We had great weather today and tomorrow will be a little warmer but not by much. I did one yard today and my yard so now I will have some time to relax I think for a change, and I will get to play with the new toys.

Well today was a good day. I will be getting the stuff tomorrow when Fedex comes. I can’t wait to get it. Supper today was cheeseburgers that came out good. It was a nice day weather wise and it should be good tomorrow as well.

I did some work down my grandparents’ house and I got to go shooting. I did 700 rounds with the bolt action 22 and once this Federal lightning ammo is gone I can take the AR15 and my 22a again for a change. I liked the ammo in the Savage but it won’t cycle properly in my other guns for some weird reason.
