Well, today was a little lighter than I had expected but tomorrow looks to be a bit heavier, but I could be wrong. . I have 4 yards planned for so far, but that could always change as it has many times before. I will just take them as they come in, and that will be that since it is going to be wet over the next few days with some soaking rain coming.
We did get some rain last night, but this is looking to be a good bit more rain. I am not going to lie and say that I don’t appreciate the rain, as we do still need it, but it is the end of the year now, so there will not exactly be a whole lot of growth. The key thing is that I will start focusing on the leaves soon, and then on the snow!
Well, it was another long day. I didn’t really plan on it being so long though but when people call, my yard gets put on hold. I was able to get 5 yards plus some of mine done. Tomorrow, depending on the rain, I may get some more done tomorrow.
They said it will stop by morning, but everything will be wet, so I am not sure what I am planning on doing yet as the rest of the week looks to be more of the same rainy weather. I may just suck it up and try and get some stuff done though, as I rather not be behind again at this time of year.
Today was a decent day, as I was able to get a good bit done, but I would have been happy if I could have gotten more done. I will be busy tomorrow, as I have 5 planned so far. It was chilly this morning, which I did enjoy but meant that I started a bit later as I wanted to let it warm up a bit first.
I am planning on working on some longer posts soon as well, as I have a lot of updates to talk about. I am plan to work on writing as well as recipes more too, as my work load will start to wind down soon as it is the end of September already. This year has flown by for sure.
I got it! I picked up the Toro Power Max HD 826 OXE today, for a grand total, with tax, of 1376! Now I just need to wait for it to snow, then I can test it out. I am going to be busy tomorrow with at least 7 lawns to do. It will be cold tonight going down to the low 40s too!
Everything is moving quickly, and before you know it, everything will be nice and white again. I have no idea when the first flakes will fly but I do know that I will be ready for them now. This is 5 inch wide, and faster, and will throw snow a LOT further!
Today was an easy day, if you consider pulling weeds to be easy I guess. I did one yard, then spent four hours on the weeding, but now that is done, and I have nothing planned for tomorrow. Anymore, I am taking Saturday off. I need at least one day off to relax a little.
It is starting to grow slower now, and the leaves will start to change and drop soon, so I am thinking about the next season now. The rumors say a snowy and cold winter, so I need to get a new snow blower sooner or later, and I plan to get one tomorrow.
Well, the good news is that I got 10 yards done today, with 3 of them being quite small, but the bad news is that I only have 1 yard, and some weeding that I thought I would get to do today, to do tomorrow. Of course, it will be nice to be done early, but I could have spaced out the work better.
Of course, someone may end up calling tomorrow, so who knows. I thought that today was going to be an easy day, and that didn’t work out too well now did it? I have been thinking that I really should do some writing, and I may start doing some free writing and see if I can work any of the ideas into the story at some point, or into a second book or even an unrelated book.
Well, I was able to get 7 yards done, and tomorrow, I have 2 planned plus some weeding and if someone else calls. I always have to say that, because I never know if someone else will call. I can plan ahead, and say that I don’t think anyone will call, since I have most of the yards done for the week.
It is starting to wind down now, and soon the leaves will be falling which will makes things get busier for a bit before the snow comes. I need to invest in a new snow blower this year I think. I am sick of dealing with the 20 year old Troy Bilt that throws snow only like 5 feet.
