Another very warm day again today. In fact it was so warm that I did a cleanup job, tilled both gardens, and replaced the spark plug boot on the Honda. The tachometer also came today so the plan for tomorrow is to start setting the RPM on the Honda.

Saturday will a bit cooler and we are supposed to get some thunderstorms, and to quote the local news meteorologist, they may be “feisty” storms. I like some good storms, so I am looking forward to them for sure. I am not sure if I have any work to do tomorrow yet.

Well another nice day today. I put a fuel line on the zero turn now, so this year I can just turn the gas off instead of running it completely dry, which takes a lot longer. I need to start getting more ready, and since it looks like my tachometer comes tomorrow, I can get the Honda ready!

I need to set the throttle and change the oil in the Honda, and change the oil and oil filter in the zero turn. I need to also charge the battery for the zero turn and put it back in the mower. I am going to rig up a thing to let me use a battery jump starter I have that has 12v out for now. The problem is it uses an electric parking break, and without the battery in it, I can’t even move it.

Happy birthday to me! I didn’t do much today, since it was cloudy, and 48, so not that warm. I am not sure what I am doing tomorrow, but it should be a bit nicer at the very least. I am going to cut this short tonight, hope everyone had a good day.

Well, today was not as nice as yesterday but that doesn’t mean I didn’t spend some time outside! I got almost all the stones out of the grass, and the new pull start rope is on the Honda. The next step for that comes when my tachometer comes in, which I hope is soon.

I need to set the throttle, then I need to do the oil change, replace the spark plug boot and transmission cover when they come in as well. I also spread out the leaves in the garden, so the next step for that will be tilling it all under a few times.

Trees are budding, and I even seen a maple tree with flowers starting to come out. Yes, maple trees get little flowers, and that means the little spinners are coming so I will be pulling out maple trees for the next 3 months as they start to grow!

Today was a great day. I started cleaning the shed, and it will need to be continued tomorrow. I did get the Honda almost completely fixed as well. The plan is to replace the pull start rope, transmission cover and spark plug boot, and then to adjust the throttle speed.

The cover and plug boot are on order, and should be here soon. The tachometer is also on order so I can do the throttle adjustment as well. The snow blower is now put away for the season as well, and I have no plans on taking it back out unless it snows and I actually need to take it out.

Today was a very nice day to say the least. I was even in a T shirt for part of the day. The good thing is that tomorrow should be just as warm, so the plan to is work on cleaning the shed and fixing the Honda. I need to get everything ready for spring!

I am looking forward to being able to start mowing soon, and if this weather pattern sticks around, I think mowing time will be very soon. I did start taking some of the stones from the grass today, but that is a long job to get every last one since I will go over the yard at least 3 times.

I placed the order for a tachometer, rear transmission cover, and a spark plug boot for my Honda, three things I had forgot I needed when I had the dealer make the other for my other parts. I paid a bit more shipping than I would have liked but it was easier this way.

It was nice today, and will be very nice tomorrow at around 60! I plan to take a walk tomorrow, or Sunday, maybe both, and start looking at the yards I cut and see how everything is looking. Plus, it can always be a way to pick up a few more customers too!
