Another busy day today, and it will probably be busy again tomorrow, but perhaps a little less, depending on, of course, as I always say, who calls me. It is a long weekend, due to Labor Day, so you know people who are having parties will want the grass done for them.
I am loving the new laptop still, and plan to start doing some writing soon, and perhaps getting back into typing up recipes as winter is coming soon. I need to finish sorting all of the ones on the TX, and then start formatting them before separating them and sorting them.

Another long day today, and tomorrow will be more of the same. I was able to get mine done today, as I quit a little early due to some mower issues. I looked at it, and noticed the spark plug boot was bent up and cracked, and then looked and the plug and the tip of it was all bent.
I put the old plug back in, cleaned all the blades I need to sharpen up, and plan to do that when I get a chance soon. It is supposed to be a bit cooler in the next few days at least. I also fixed the update by using the “Restore previous build” option in the advanced boot.

Another busy day but I only did 4 yards today then called it a day early as the heat was getting to me and I wasn’t feeling my best. I am trying to fix an issue with the Anniversary Update on my Yoga, as it boots to a blank screen now.
Something said it was the VGA driver, and booting into Safe Mode and removing it may help, so I am going to try that and see where it gets me. Worst case, I “reset” Windows and start all over again, like I did on Saturday when I got it.

Another busy day again today, but I did get quite a bit done, as I did some bushes, and 6 yards today, of which 2 were first time cuttings. I don’t think the one will be calling me back, as I was called as his guy wasn’t showing up lately, and the other will call as needed as she wants to do it sometimes as well.
I do have a good bit planned for tomorrow, so it will be interesting to see if I can get them all done in time. Right now, it isn’t looking at all the good, as I have 6 larger yards planned, as well as anyone who calls in the meantime to boot.

Well, I ended up taking a day off today, since I needed some rest. I will be very busy tomorrow though, and that will be a good thing as I ended up buying a new toy today. I was looking for a bit, and decided on which one to get. I am stalling for time here so here goes.
I ended up going with a Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 14, which was on sale for 800 dollars. It was a little out of my price range, but it was worth the extra price. I am very happy with this purchase though, and it is a good upgrade to my Surface Pro and X140e I have been using lately.
It has a Skylake Core i5, running at 2.3GHZ, 8GB RAM, and a 256GB SSD, which is quite a bit better than what I had now. It also has an active digitizer, specifically a WACOM, and a 2 in 1 hinge. While 14″ is a little large to use as a tablet, it is nice to have the option.
The main thing I had wanted though was the backlit keyboard, and battery life. I would love to use this for writing, and I may end up doing some soon with it, as I do need to break in the keyboard. I will need to use it more for a few days to be sure, but I am happy with my toy for the year.

Another busy day again, but I did get 7 yards done! I have one planned for tomorrow, in the afternoon, but may do more if I have the time and the weather isn’t that bad, otherwise, they can wait until Sunday or Monday, which will also be very busy days.
I lost the bracket that holds the discharge chute on the Honda, so I need to see if I can find it, or order one somewhere I guess. I am hoping that I left it at a job, and it turns up soon. I may do some writing tonight, since I don’t need to be up so early tomorrow.

Well, it was a busy day again today, and it will be again tomorrow. It feels more like April than it does August, besides the heat, since the grass is growing like crazy. I got 6 yards done today, and the goal for tomorrow is to get 7 done, or more depending on who calls.
I have been thinking of getting a portable jump starter for the Toro, since if the battery ever dies, I have no way to get it home, and depending on where I am, it could mean a long walk home to get a charger and then wait for it to charge enough to start. Plus, since they have USB ports, it could be used to charge my phone, or headset, if needed as well.
